Vivian Green Nashville Concert reviews
Such a major disappointment
I purchased 2 tickets for the Giants game party pass for Sept. 20, 2009. We were told the doors would be opened at 3 PM. I paid $50 to park about a 1/2 mile away and stood in the blistering heat for 1 hour before they opened the doors at 6:00. Once in the stadium, there was no where to STAND and watch the game. First, I stood behind the people on the deck and was told to move. I felt so cheated and disappointed. I stood behind the stairs and was told to move. I felt so terrible and was angry at this point. At that point I asked a staff member where in the hell can I STAND, where am I suppose to go? I was walking down the stairs and was told to move...while walking. It was like I was being targeted. The staff member stated that the game had been over ticketed and the fire marshall had came to tell them to get people out of there. Dispite all others where sitting on the stairs, leaning on the rails from the side, being able to walk down the stairs without being told anything. I stood behind more people on the next deck and was trying to see the star being inducted on the field and was told to move, that I could not touch the rail. I stood behind more people on the next deck and was trying to see the star being inducted on the field and was told to move, that I could not touch the rail. We didn't even get a chance to see the field at all. We will never again go to the Vivian Green stadium to be humiliated and treated so cruely by the staff, the Arlington police department and the organization. I am so glad my house was not taken away to build that unnessary gianormous stadium and I am especially glad my tax dollars do not pay for it. When I purchased those tickets for a total of $77 with all the fees, I didnt mind standing to watch the game, I do mind not getting to see anything but the mere walls and the other fans from afar in the stands. My husband and I went and sat on the floor at the back of the stadium and looked at each other in disgust. We could not believe it! $50 for parking was enough for me. We also purchased party passes for the Panther game for the 28th but we are looking to sell those tickets. Just point me in the right direction to get my refund. I will sit in my own 4,500 square foot house in the air conditioning and watch the game on my 73" HD Mitsubishi television with surround sound like I've been doing.
